  • Young African-Americans represent 65% of AIDS cases reported among 13-19 year olds in 2002.
  • In 2003, African-Americans accounted for 49% of newly diagnosed AIDS cases
  • African-American women accounted for 67% of new AIDS cases in 2003
  • HIV/AIDS is the number one killer of African-American women ages 18-35.

The statistics don't stop there. We have all heard the saying "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for enough good men to do nothing". DO SOMETHING NOW!

Submission Format

We ask that all submissions be emailed as an email attachment. The subject line should read "Submission: Title of submission". Include a brief summary of the article in the body of your email, along with the following information:

  1. Your Name
  2. Age
  3. City & State
  4. College & Graduation Date (if applicable)
