Poem, In The Moment

March 30, 2007

There eyes met while he and she stood on separate sides of the room.
He stands at six feet five inches.
His skin is soft as a baby’s bottom.
His body is like nothing she’s seen before.
It was like watching Tampa Bay score.

He approached her only a few minutes later.
They talked some of the night.
Then they danced while they looked passionately into each others eyes.
He whispers sweet nothings in her ear.
While she holds him tight;
She notices how good he smells.

Being near him turns her on.
Being near her makes him rise.
This feeling of lust takes them to a place where they shouldn’t go.
Why couldn’t they say no?

They continued seeing each other.
Then something happened a few months later.
He found out that he had contracted HIV.
He passed it on to her not knowing he had this virus.
They cried and cried.
Then five years later they died.
