Do you believe in Magic?
October 18, 2006
Mr. Magic Johnson is on a 10-city tour spreading the word to black communities about HIV/AIDS. I have to applaud this man, he is contracted HIV, and told the world. It seems he has dedicated his life to giving back to the black community. I'd have to say, what he does is admirable. I wonder how many other people would openly to their life story to the world, in hopes of saving the life of someone else. Whatever his motivation for doing what he does; I still applaud his intention. My hats off to Magic - keep it up man! Check the full out the full story..

A Guide to Sexually Transmitted Diseases: Gonorrhea
October 06, 2006
Sexually transmitted diseases affect men and women of all economic levels and ethnic backgrounds. The United States has the highest rates of STDs in the industrialized world. The rates of STDs are 50-100 times higher in the U.S. than in other industrial nations. An estimated 15.3 million new cases of sexually transmitted diseases are reported each year in the United States. Most STDs initially cause no symptoms in both men and women.
Gonorrhea is a sexually transmitted disease (STD). Gonorrhea is caused by Neisseria gonorrhoeae, a bacterium that can grow and multiply easily in the warm, moist areas of the reproductive tract, including the cervix (opening to the womb), uterus (womb), and fallopian tubes (egg canals) in women, and in the urethra (urine canal) in women and men. The bacterium can also grow in the mouth, throat, eyes, and anus.
